Franchise Four- Hookers
Saturday, January 23rd, 2016Out of all the teams we’ve discussed so far (which is only nine at the moment), this has been one of the hardest. There were three unanimous choices but determing the fourth was very difficult. This team has been together for a long time and has been extremely successful. In the end, you really couldn’t go wrong picking any four people from this elite franchise.

It is not often that one game stands above the rest on the schedule, but that is the case this week, as the league’s last two undefeated teams face off. There will be only one Game of the Week this week, but fear not, loyal readers…we are still doing two preview posts.
The Tuques/Hookers matchup inspires thoughts of Manning vs. Brady.
Only difference is Manning is likable, and no one on the Tuques or Hookers are. (Besides Anshu, but she ain’t showing)
Week 6 Preview: Part III
Thursday, May 15th, 2014GOTW: Corlears Hookers at Fresh Kills
These Brown Division rivals certainly aren’t strangers with one another. They met three times last season with the Hookers taking two of those games. Although Fresh Kills won handily in week 14 with a 5-2 victory, the Hookers defeated Fresh Kills 5-4 in week 17, ruining their bid for a perfect season in the process. With each team besting the other once during the regular season, they met one final time in BTSH’s Greatest Game Ever Played©: the 2013 playoff semifinal when the Hookers defeated Fresh Kills 2-1 in triple overtime.
Despite reffing more than 60 additional minutes of “free hockey,” the league only paid Dan for one game following that 3OT thriller. (Glanzer Note: That’s why it’s “Free” Derk)
The *Real* Stars of Week 5
Tuesday, May 6th, 2014So yesterday we put up stars 4-6 of Week 5. We at The Authority felt they played great and deserved our love. But the backlash that you, the BTSH Universe, gave us has been unprecedented. You only want the top 3 stars.
Gil (“Gil’s Son’s Dad”) Valdes demands that we show only the top 3 stars of the week. Especially in a week where he gets a goal and three assists.
