The Elves lost 6-0. Mike Meyers scored the first goal against us. BTW, we should get some sort of record for the most times ever losing 6-0. I think its happened 5 times or something.
I just wanted to clarify something. Myself and the other Cobra Kai-ers who chose not to play Sunday did so because of the lightening in the area and not just cause of “rain fears”. NPR reported that twelve people in the tri-state area were hit by lightening during Sunday’s storms and one them died. We didn’t want to take any chances.
After looking at a copy of the official boxscore I have to say I was mistaken. We actually won 4-0. And we won the Fairy Cup as well. Go Elves!
It should be noted that “rain fears” is the standard boiler plate term we use for all weather-related cancellations.
