Week 7 Part 2
OK…so we said you’d have to earn the GOTW with some Ws, but What the Puck and the Riots have combined for one win between them. (But what a win it was!) Actually, I don’t remember the win at all, but it was by the Riots. But we at The Authority are nothing if we are not fair, so we decided to give WTP and the Riots a fresh start.
WTP at Riots
Keys for the Riots:

Donna Martin Graduates! Graduation is always a stressful time and three Riots just received conferred doctorates at CUNY Graduate Center commencement this week.

Amy Jones in anthropology, Alex Frenette in sociology, and Myrto Mylopoulos in philosophy. That’s a PhD hat trick. (joke stolen from Amy Jones)
Keys for WTP:

And WTP is also going to need to find a replacement for “Big Yellow” as Jordan is going to miss this week’s game.
Prediction:

I see WTP throwing Emily up in the air after her first win as captain. A close game, 4-3.
(PS. Riots you should go on a color change because red vs. orange is really confusing)
Eli’s Pick: Awkward fist-bump/high-five combos galore! What The Puck gets to celebrate after a 5-2 win.
Derek’s Pick: I’ll go against the grain, and take the Riots. WTP has come very close to winning lately, but Jordan was a big part of the reason.
Other Games
Rehabs at Lbs.

Lbs. vs. Rehabs isn’t just a big game in the BTSH standings, but it’s a big game for race relations in America.
Will “The Man’ and The Corporation pull out the victory? Or will $h0wT!m3 and Black Rob win it for the Rehabs? Only the black and white cookie truly knows.
But so do I. I’m not being racist, just keeping it real. Lbs. 2-1.
Eli’s Pick: If LBS, Inc. and the Rehabs looked to the cookie, all of their problems would be solved. Well, only for LBS, Inc., 3-1.
Derek’s Pick: Tough one, but I actually think the Habs pull an upset here. 3-2.
Anklebiters at Hookers
This week should be color blind week as multiple teams with similar colors play each other. Hookers stay undefeated with a 4-1 win.
Eli’s Pick: Both teams have a white alternate, so unless they both go with that, we should be okay here. Hookers escape with a 3-2 win.
Derek’s Pick: Hookers continue their winning ways with a solid 4-2 win.
Tuques at Gremmies

If the Gremmies are bowing to Dark Rainbows, imagine how bad it will be against the Tuques?
Actually, I don’t think it will be that bad. I mean they will lose, but it will be relatively close. 3-0.
Eli’s Pick: Tim already has three shutouts on the season. He doesn’t get number four here, but he gets another win, as Famiglia doubles up the Gremlins, 4-2.
Derek’s Pick: La Famiglia impresses once again with a 5-1 win.
Math at Poutine

Last game, Math got destroyed by the Elves after Momma Norris and her children performed the “Norris Boycott” and missed the game.
Meanwhile, Poutine just keeps chugging along as new goalie Matt L. ascends to the top of the BTSH goalie rankings.
This is going to be a good game…for Math, as they beat Poutine 4-2.
Langer, Sam, a girl (rooting for you, Amy) and Derk with goals.
