Your headline is a bit unkind to the non-goal scorer pictured above the Week 8 Box Scores. I have to come to his defense. The “non-scoring” player in question fulfills a critical role on the Demons’ highly effective checking line. He’s also a team veteran and, as such, he is a respected mentor before, during, and, as I understand it, especially after games. As for scoring, I’m sure many of your readers know he has hit the back of the twine. I happened to witness one in person at Corlears. I just can’t remember when, but that’s more on me than on him. It was definitely a non-rain-fear day.
