the all star game will be at 5pm, sunday sept. 23, 2007.<\/p>\n

there will be two players sent from each team, one male and one female.<\/p>\n

contact your team captain for more information.<\/p>\n

one new twist to the all star game this year: MULTI-BALL! there will be a
\nfew random “multi-ball” periods in the game. an airhorn will sound, lots of
\nballs will be thrown on to the court, and teams can try to shoot in as many
\nballs as can until the horn sounds again. there will be goal judges to count
\nthe goals during the multi-ball period.<\/p>\n

there may also be a 5 minute all-goalie game during the intermission.<\/p>\n

Volunteer and Support the Alliance for Lupus Research

\nJoin the ALR at The Meadowlands in New Jersey and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153tackle\u00e2\u20ac\u009d lupus with the help of the New York Jets!\u00c2\u00a0 The second annual ALR Lupus Awareness Day will increase awareness of lupus, the ALR\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Mission and most importantly, raise funds for research.\u00c2\u00a0 Volunteers are needed to assist with donation collection prior to the game and distribute ALR Lupus Awareness Bracelets at the Stadium Gates.\u00c2\u00a0 The first 30 volunteers to sign up will receive a long sleeve ALR Volunteer T-shirt, a ticket to stay and watch the New York Jets game against the Miami Dolphins and a snack and beverage voucher.\u00c2\u00a0 Cheer on the Jets as they play the Miami Dolphins, join the crowd in recognizing ALR\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s top fundraisers from local Walk with Us to Cure Lupus events and help the ALR in our quest for a cure!<\/p>\n
