<\/a><\/p>\nColor:<\/strong> Navy Blue <\/p>\n Filthy Gorgeous’ run of success continued in 2009 with the team collecting 15 wins in the regular season and advancing to the quarterfinals of the playoffs.\u00a0 The team was led by the breakout performances of “Gentleman” James Pereira, Sunny Mehra, and Suvin “The Guru” Malik, who combined for 58 goals on the season.\u00a0 Filthy finished the year with the league’s second ranked offense and led BTSH in goal differential.\u00a0 These feats are even more\u00a0impressive considering the team was\u00a0without the services of Paul “Ashy Larry” Vernon, who did not attend any of their games.\u00a0 In fact, he hasn’t been on the team for years.<\/p>\n With very little turnover from last season,\u00a0Filthy Gorgeous\u00a0has retained a majority of\u00a0its\u00a0core.\u00a0\u00a0The team\u00a0will actually benefit from the\u00a0de facto addition\u00a0of defensive stalwart Matthew Novick, who was sidelined last season with\u00a0an undisclosed injury.\u00a0 With Novick\u00a0anchoring the D once again\u00a0and the return of Filthy’s big three scorers, the team should continue to be a top contender in BTSH.<\/p>\n Other miscellaneous team notes include:<\/p>\n
