Weiner, who considers himself the glue of this team, designed the illustration on the front of the shirt.\u00a0 Unfortunately, unlike last year, the Anklebiters are no longer &#8220;Black for Street Hockey&#8221;.\u00a0 That designation now falls solely on the shoulders of Sharif &#8220;The Chocolate Buzzsaw&#8221; Corinaldi and Donald Brashear.\u00a0 A few new t-shirts are being special ordered for Phil &#8220;Sandy&#8221; Donohue, who is far too ripped for any of the current ones.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a title=\"Tony's\" href=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/tonys.jpg\" target=\"_self\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/tonys.jpg\" alt=\"Tony's\" width=\"400\" height=\"256\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is How Colorado and Detroit Started Too<\/strong><br \/>\nWith the Sky Fighters reforming just last season, and the Happy Little Elves assembling this season, it is only natural that BTSH&#8217;s two newest teams\u00a0would develop a rivalry.\u00a0 In the spirit of competition, captains Amy Lott of the Sky Fighters and Ben Chadwick of the Happy Little Elves held a powwow to determine\u00a0the stakes for their inaugural showdown.\u00a0 The meeting was held in a back room at Tony&#8217;s on 38th Street with the extremely overrated team cancer Ant &#8220;Father Time&#8221;\u00a0Ventolieri mediating the discussions.\u00a0 Amy ordered a pastrami on rye with mustard that turned out to be a little dry.\u00a0 Ben\u00a0ate a hotdog and French fries off of the kid&#8217;s menu.\u00a0 After much debate, they finally\u00a0decided that the winner would receive a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon and the right to rename the losing team for a period of one week.\u00a0 Ant giddily dubbed the game the &#8220;PBR Bowl&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>With the Sky Fighters emerging victorious on Sunday, they drew first blood in this burgeoning rivalry.\u00a0 As of now, it is unknown whether they&#8217;ve actually received their case of PBR, although they have been hard at work thinking of a new team name for the Happy Little Elves.\u00a0 When reached for comment, Chadwick noted, &#8220;I sure hope they don&#8217;t pick something really embarrassing&#8230;like mentioning that time I wet myself in the second grade.\u00a0 Or worse yet, when Jarome [Ramos] ate a handful of worms on a dare.\u00a0 Of course, there was also the time when Jon [Levine] accidentally bought and wore a woman&#8217;s suit.\u00a0 But there&#8217;s no way they could possibly know about these things&#8230;&#8221;\u00a0 The media agree.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yes, The Emoticon is Part of the Quote<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8220;Fresh Kills stay home.\u00a0 You don&#8217;t want to go to Rehab :)&#8221; &#8212; Alex &#8220;Villano VI&#8221; Zabala, on next Sunday&#8217;s Rehabs-Fresh Kills throwdown.\u00a0 Yeah, now they&#8217;re scared.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Captains&#8217; Commendations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bad Touch<\/strong>: <em>Meghan Peterson<\/em> played a &#8220;hell of a game&#8221; in her second game ever.<br \/>\n<strong>Cobra Kai<\/strong>: <em>Zack Tinkelman<\/em> (of Denim Demons)\u00a0replaced Paul &#8220;P.J.&#8221;\u00a0Lopez\u00a0in goal on very short notice.<br \/>\n<strong>Corlears Hookers<\/strong>: <em>Elizabeth Lewis<\/em>\u00a0constantly crashed the net.<br \/>\n<strong>Dark Rainbows<\/strong>: <em>Sean Reynolds<\/em> strategically scratched himself from the lineup to ensure victory.<br \/>\n<strong>Denim Demons<\/strong>: <em>Micael Holmstrom<\/em> brought teammates jackets and shirts from new team sponsor, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.salmingsports.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">SalmingSports.com<\/a>.<br \/>\n<strong>Filthy Gorgeous<\/strong>: <em>Sunny Mehra<\/em> performed on only two hours of sleep after driving up from Atlantic City, and he almost puked.<br \/>\n<strong>Gouging Anklebiters<\/strong>: Goalie &#8220;<em>Quiet&#8221; Mike O&#8217;Connor<\/em> nailed Karsten Pichon of LBS in the balls with his\u00a0stick.\u00a0 According to Captain Phil &#8220;Sandy&#8221; Donohue, it was the play of the game.<br \/>\n<strong>Happy Little Elves<\/strong>: <em>Brian Ferry<\/em> is acknowledged for &#8220;extracurricular yearbookery.&#8221;<br \/>\n<strong>LBS<\/strong>: <em>Sascha Puritz<\/em> picked herself for looking especially good.<br \/>\n<strong>Mathematics<\/strong>: <em>Georgine &#8220;Mulva&#8221;
