With revenge still on What The Puck&#8217;s mind, the defending champs will need this supporting cast to step up once again.<br \/>\n<strong>Keys To The Game:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. With the Sky Fighters raising their championship banner in an elaborate pre-game ceremony, they will have a clear mental edge as the game begins.<br \/>\n2. Although What The Puck lost in the championship game, the team is quick to point out that it was their second game of the day, as they had just finished a grueling semifinal against Fresh Kills.\u00a0 The team is looking forward to the chance at avenging its loss while fresh.<br \/>\n3. This contest will feature the two most recent August centerfolds from the BTSH Hunk Calendar.\u00a0 What The Puck&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/2009\/08\/09\/week-16-box-scores-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Salvatore Malguarnera, Jr.<\/a> was showcased in 2009, while the Sky Fighters <a href=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/2010\/03\/04\/2010-btsh-calendar-released\/\" target=\"_blank\">Greg &#8220;Mr. August&#8221; Cohan<\/a> will be highlighted in 2010.\u00a0 Interestingly, 2008&#8217;s Mr. August, Bryan &#8220;Stork&#8221; Welch, will be reffing.<br \/>\n<strong>Eli\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Sky Fighters. They weren&#8217;t intimidated for the championship game, and they won&#8217;t be here either.<br \/>\n<strong>Derek\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> What The Puck.\u00a0 Mad Dog is too crafty to lose to the same team twice in a row.<br \/>\n<strong>Watchability: <\/strong>5 Hoppers.\u00a0 It&#8217;s the championship rematch and also Opening Day.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Filthy Gorgeous at Denim Demons<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Tompkins East, 1:00 PM<br \/>\n<strong>All-Time Series:<\/strong> Tied 2-2-1<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes:<\/strong> The Denim Demons begin their quest to repeat as Rubens Division and regular season champions.\u00a0 However, it will be tougher this year as top players Micael Holmstr\u00f6m and Jeff Kamen will not be playing for most of the season.\u00a0 Filthy Gorgeous, likewise, will be without the services of phenom Paul &#8220;Ashy Larry&#8221; Vernon.<br \/>\n<strong>Eli\u2019s Pick: <\/strong>Filthy Gorgeous.\u00a0 Vernon hasn&#8217;t been on the team for years, but they still looked pretty good last season.<br \/>\n<strong>Derek\u2019s Pick: <\/strong>Filthy Gorgeous.\u00a0 The &#8220;Gentleman&#8221; James Pereira show begins.<br \/>\n<strong>Watchability: <\/strong>4 Hoppers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Butchers at Tompkins Square Riots<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Tompkins West, 1:00 PM<br \/>\n<strong>All-Time Series:<\/strong> First Meeting<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes:<\/strong> This inter-division Schumacher Conference matchup features the league&#8217;s two expansion teams.<br \/>\n<strong>Eli\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Butchers<br \/>\n<strong>Derek\u2019s Pick:<\/strong> Butchers.\u00a0 The team may be new, but the players will still have a lot of chemistry together.<br \/>\n<strong>Watchability:<\/strong> 2 Hoppers<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poutine Machine at Mathematics<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Tompkins East, 2:00 PM<br \/>\n<strong>All-Time Series:<\/strong> First Meeting<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes:<\/strong> League sideshow and new Mathematic Hector &#8220;$howT!m3&#8221; Melendez begins his career as an official starting goalie, while Poutine Machine&#8217;s Patrick &#8220;Sven&#8221; Larsen begins his career as an official captain.<br \/>\n<strong>Watchability: <\/strong>2.5 Hoppers. $howT!m3&#8217;s antics are always worth an extra half Hopper.\u00a0 Thus, he is half as valuable as Dan Hopper, who is worth a full Hopper.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gut Rot at Mega Touch<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Tompkins West, 2:00 PM<br \/>\n<strong>All-Time Series:<\/strong> First Meeting<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes:<\/strong> Gut Rot (in its Mexican Standoff incarnation) and Mega Touch both lost their play-in games in the 2009 playoffs.\u00a0 Both teams will look to rebound and get off to a winning start in this MacNeil Division contest.<br \/>\n<strong>Eli\u2019s Pick: <\/strong>Mega Touch<br \/>\n<strong>Derek&#8217;s Pick: <\/strong>Gut Rot.
