(Except That)<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/unicorns1.jpg\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/unicorns1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-432\" title=\"unicorns1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/unicorns1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"377\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miyagimedia.com\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/unicorns1.jpg 577w, https:\/\/www.miyagimedia.com\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/unicorns1-300x251.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.btsh.org\/bruise\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/unicorns.gif\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>GAME OF THE WEEK<br \/>\nUnicorns\u00a0(8-6) vs. Mighty Squirrels (7-3-3)<br \/>\nLocation: <\/strong>Corlears South,\u00a03:00 PM<br \/>\n<strong>All-Time Series: <\/strong>Unicorns lead 4-1<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes: <\/strong>Although both of these teams now hover in the upper half of the standings, this game has implications far beyond simple wins and losses in BTSH.\u00a0 In addition to the pressure of ending a three game losing streak, Mighty Squirrels captain Rachel &#8220;A-Korn&#8221; Greene must face one of her fiercest and most devious rivals in this game: Unicorns goalie, Craig &#8220;Ug&#8221; LaCombe.\u00a0 A known cheater, LaCombe has already been caught several times this season for various league infractions.\u00a0 In May, referee Adam &#8220;Legend Killer&#8221; Rubens measured his pads and determined that they were several inches above the league standard.\u00a0 In June, referee Bryan &#8220;Stork&#8221; Welch found a bucket of white paint on LaCombe&#8217;s person, as he was trying to expand the crease.\u00a0 Interestingly, due to excessive lobbying by Unicorns captain Christian, LaCombe is yet to face any consequences for these actions.\u00a0 Greene, however, is also known to be quite crafty as she once &#8220;inadvertently&#8221; gave LaCombe the wrong start time for one of his games.\u00a0 Odds are, she&#8217;ll do that again this week.\u00a0 Of course, the anticipation for\u00a0this heated rivalry may be moot in the end, as Greene may head to the Meadowlands for the Jets&#8217; home opener anyway.<br \/>\n<strong>Keys To The Game: <\/strong><br \/>\n1. Chris, Nelson, and Mark have combined for 31 of the Unicorns&#8217; 47 goals this season.\u00a0 Stopping this triumvirate of scorers will be imperative for the Squirrels.<br \/>\n2. Lost among the Greene-LaCombe hype is the revenge factor that will also motivate former Unicorn Jesse Kalb.<br \/>\n3. Good news for the Squirrels!\u00a0 According to New York fashion week, Earth tones are back in this season.\u00a0 So, they have that going for them&#8230;<br \/>\n<strong>Eli&#8217;s Pick: <\/strong>Mighty Squirrels. Rachel does it for Brett Favre.<br \/>\n<strong>Derek&#8217;s Pick: <\/strong>Unicorns.
