(14-3-1) vs. #9 Unicorns (11-6-0-1)<br \/>\nLocation: <\/strong>Moffo, 1:00 PM<br \/>\n<strong>All-Time Series: <\/strong>LBS, Inc. leads 7-6<br \/>\n<strong>2008 Result: <\/strong>Week 4 &#8211; Unicorns 4, LBS, Inc. 1<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes: <\/strong>Both of these teams advanced to the second round\u00a0after\u00a0outstanding performances by their respective goalies.\u00a0 Seth Wachtell\u00a0of LBS, Inc. pitched his first shutout of the season in a sound defeat of Mexican Standoff (who nearly skipped the game to go to the\u00a0beach).\u00a0 Karsten Pichon scored two goals, despite missing his linemate, the self-proclaimed cleanest player in the game, Ken &#8220;The Alpha Male&#8221; Corlears Hookers 1, Dark Rainbows 0<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes: <\/strong>While the Corlears Hookers got a measure of revenge for their championship loss by beating the Dark Rainbows in the regular season, they will feel even better if they can knock the defending champions out of the playoffs.\u00a0 In the opening round, the Hookers soundly defeated Cobra Kai, on the strength of\u00a0a\u00a0stellar four goal\u00a0performance by Gavin &#8220;Dutch&#8217;s Brother&#8221; Kearney.\u00a0 In addition, key rookie Jason Eitel returned from the disabled list to chip in a goal of his own.\u00a0 The Dark Rainbows had a tougher time with their opening round opponent, as they barely squeezed by a faltering Mighty Squirrels team 2-1.\u00a0 Star forward John Nielsen continued to regain his mid-season form after a prolonged absence, as he netted\u00a0both of the Rainbows&#8217; Filthy Gorgeous 5, Denim Demons 4 (OT-SO)<br \/>\n<strong>Game Notes: <\/strong>While both of these teams boast deep rosters, each advanced to the second round on the strength of stellar individual performances.\u00a0 James Pereira notched five of the seven goals for Filthy Gorgeous in their first round victory over the\u00a0Mathematics, including four in the second half.\u00a0 For the Denim Demons, Zack Tinkelman nearly doubled his regular season\u00a0output, as he scored four of the Demons&#8217; five goals against the Tuques.\u00a0 However, captain Adam &#8220;Legend Killer&#8221; Rubens\u00a0was quick to mention\u00a0that the entire team contributed to the winning effort.\u00a0 For example, he highlighted Gabby Carson&#8217;s defensive prowess by noting that she can stop any male attacker in the league&#8230;aside from Mike &#8220;The X-Factor&#8221;
