Walkley (Dark Rainbows)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Most Underrated Female<\/strong><br \/>\nGabby Carson (Denim Demons)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Most Underrated Male<\/strong><br \/>\nPeter Wilson (Tuques)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Stacy Kehoe Award For Toughness And Grace<\/strong><br \/>\nCaroline Currie (Fresh Kills)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Jon &#8220;Dinner Plate&#8221; Feldman Award For Agitation and Instigation<\/strong><br \/>\nAlbert &#8220;Al&#8221; Huang (Corlears Hookers)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Second Annual Bob Weyersberg Award For Outstanding Achievement In The Field Of Excellence<\/strong><br \/>\nBryan &#8220;Stork&#8221; Welch (Rehabs)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Brendan &#8220;Flounder&#8221; Hay Memorial Award (Female)<\/strong><br \/>\nSarah Coombs (Mathematics)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Brendan &#8220;Flounder&#8221; Hay Memorial Award (Male)<\/strong><br \/>\nRob &#8220;Mungo&#8221; Gorden (Mighty Squirrels)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Lifetime Achievement Award<\/strong><br \/>\nSeth Wachtell (LBS, Inc.)<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h4>All-Media Teams<\/h4>\n<p>In addition to the awards, as per tradition, here are the year end, BTSH All-Star teams, as selected by the media.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1st Team All-BTSH:<\/strong><br \/>\nG: Trevor &#8220;White Jesus&#8221; Tyrrell (Dark Rainbows)<br \/>\nD:\u00a0Meredith Danberg-Ficarelli\u00a0(Rehabs)<br \/>\nD: Martin &#8220;Ocho Cinco&#8221; Cejka (Sky Fighters)<br \/>\nF:\u00a0Michelle Doucet\u00a0(What The Puck)<br \/>\nF:\u00a0Mike &#8220;The X-Factor&#8221; Woodsworth\u00a0(What The Puck)<br \/>\nF:\u00a0Adriano &#8220;Muscles\u00a0Marinara&#8221; Bratta\u00a0(Cobra Kai)<\/p>\n<p>Despite an injury-plagued season, Tyrrell still gets the call in net, because no other goalie can alter the game the way he can.\u00a0 Not a ton of surprises on the first team, otherwise, as the consensus top female (Danberg-Ficarelli)\u00a0and best offensive award winners (Doucet and Woodsworth)\u00a0all make the squad.\u00a0 The league&#8217;s leading scorer (Bratta) boosts the offense even further, and Cejka was once again outstanding on both sides of the ball.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd Team All-BTSH:<br \/>\n<\/strong>G: Craig &#8220;Ug&#8221; LaCombe (Unicorns)<br \/>\nD:\u00a0Laura MacNeil\u00a0(Mathematics)<br \/>\nD:\u00a0Matt Novick\u00a0(Filthy Gorgeous)<br \/>\nF:\u00a0Caroline Morrissey-Bickerton\u00a0(Gouging Anklebiters)<br \/>\nF:\u00a0Karsten Pichon\u00a0(LBS, Inc.)<br \/>\nF:\u00a0Jason Eitel\u00a0(Corlears Hookers)<\/p>\n<p>Ug was overlooked in the awards ceremony, but he still has a way of filling\u00a0an entire goal, leaving minimal space for a shooter.\u00a0 There is a slight possibility of nepotism on defense, but few women in BTSH can shut down an offense and\u00a0direct\u00a0their teammates\u00a0as well as MacNeil can.\u00a0 Novick may be the best pure defender in the league\u00a0and also contributed\u00a0ten goals in the regular season.\u00a0 Morrissey-Bickerton likes to fly under the radar, but she remains a top threat.\u00a0 Pichon and Eitel both finished in the top five in regular season goals, so their inclusion is well merited.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Checking Line:<\/strong><br \/>\nG: Dan Owens (Filthy Gorgeous)<br \/>\nD: Gina Hackett (Rehabs)<br \/>\nD:\u00a0Gary Kowalski\u00a0(Mighty Squirrels)<br \/>\nF: Heidi &#8220;The Maple Leaf Muscle&#8221; Karst (Fresh Kills)<br \/>\nF: The Self-Proclaimed Cleanest Player In The Game, &#8220;The Alpha Male&#8221; Ken Poulin (LBS, Inc.)<br \/>\nF:\u00a0Albert &#8220;Al&#8221; Huang\u00a0(Corlears Hookers)<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s tough to find a goalie to fill out this prestigious line, but Owens&#8217;s rough and tumble antics make him a perfect fit.\u00a0 Hackett remains the only player in BTSH that\u00a0Derek may be legitimately scared of, as\u00a0he&#8217;s still recovering from\u00a0their infamous\u00a0scuffle in 2006.\u00a0 Kowalski was a teddy bear for the early part of his hockey career, but since Rachel &#8220;A-Korn&#8221; Greene took control of the Squrrels, his intensity and intimidation have skyrocketed.\u00a0 Karstmakes her second consecutive appearance on the BTSH checking line, as she once again led the league in hits and bloody noses induced.\u00a0\u00a0We&#8217;re not sure why Poulin&#8217;s on here; he&#8217;s actually the (self-proclaimed) cleanest player in the game.\u00a0 On the other hand, Al\u00a0should definitely be on here, because he cheats (even though he wears glasses, and &#8220;dudes with glasses just don\u2019t do that&#8221;).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Hookers Need To Do Stuff Like This More Often \u00a0 On Sunday evening, the media had the distinct honor and pleasure to present their second annual Media Awards to some of BTSH&#8217;s outstanding players.
