<\/a><\/p>\nColor<\/strong>: Navy Blue <\/p>\n After two mediocre seasons in 2006 and 2007, Filthy Gorgeous took a giant leap forward in 2008.\u00a0 Spurred on by a fourth place finish in the regular season standings, Filthy advanced to the semifinals of the playoffs for the first time in the\u00a0franchise’s short history.<\/p>\n The team boasts one of the most balanced and deepest attacks in the league, as\u00a0it finished second in scoring last season, despite having no players with more than 10 goals.\u00a0 Additionally, there is finally some stability between the pipes, as this\u00a0will be\u00a0the first\u00a0year that Filthy has not had to find a new goalie.\u00a0\u00a0Last season’s free agent\u00a0sensation Dan Owens is returning, much to the delight of his teammates.\u00a0 Captain Monica Russo exclaims, “We love Dan-O!”\u00a0 Sadly, another beloved Filthy Gorgeous player will not return\u00a0as Paul “Ashy Larry” Vernon now resides in Seattle.<\/p>\n Other team notes include:<\/p>\n Food They Closely Resemble:<\/strong> Store Brand Anything<\/em>.\u00a0 Sure, it comes off as a little generic, and its spartan packaging\u00a0doesn’t do a lot to draw attention.\u00a0 However, the quality isn’t any worse than the flashy brand names, and it’s definitely a better value.
