Filler Friday: Is this Derek and Eli better than our Derek and Eli???

Derek Jeter and Eli Manning vs. Derk and Elly. Could the two NY icons be better than the two BTSH legends?

Of course they are. If I asked Jeter and Manning to write the Previews Part 2, they would have. I asked Derk, Elly and Intern Nick several times and didn't get a response...so you are left with a wrestling picture for Filler Friday and no previews for the rest of the deserving teams.

As punishment, you are all getting a Luisa picture as well.

So they don’t write a preview. They are still superior than NY’s iconic Derek & Eli. At least BTSH’s Derk & Elly are not the most overrated SS’s to ever play the game

Never heard of him, but looks okay. On his career: 62.0 offensive WAR, -1.4 defensive WAR. Was he super popular while playing above average over his career?

You’re fucking with me about not knowing Harrah, right?

I don’t like Derek Jeter. I do think he was overrated by many, but I still think he was great. But to compare him to A-Rod is ridiculous.

It’s true, I don’t. Tell me something about him (Harrah) that I can’t get from the statsheet.

Jeter was a great hitter and great at speaking to the media, that’s about it. He cost his team every time he was on the field and doesn’t have the leadership qualities that everyone seems to think he possesses. He won most of his rings when he was the youngster on the club, and the many years the Yankees were ‘Derek’s team’ that followed ended in no rings. 2009 was led by all their other all-stars.

    Go Omar Vizquel!
