BTSH ALL STAR TRAVEL GAME!
it’s an intra-boro hockey throw down! the boys of the Manhattan Roller Hockey Leauge http://www.manhattanrollerhockeyleague.com have challenged BTSH to a friendly exhibition game (on sneakers – no wheels)! of course, we accepted! we’ll be working with team captains to assemble a roster of about 10 guys and 8 gals, along with 2-3 goalies, to represent the league. the game will be on dec. 15 in the afternoon.
in the meantime, they invited us to come down and play ’em this sunday at 4:15pm, as well as on sunday oct. 7 at 4:15pm. if you’re interested in this, contact bobw – he’ll find a coordinator. BUT if you do head north to play these guys, they are going to consider you “BTSH.” none of us (as far as i know) have ever met these folks. so, be on your best behavior. (and be sure to kick their asses! heh heh!) but seriously, we’re trying to build a relationship with these guys, and form a hockey alliance that we can use when approaching the parks dept., sponsors, etc.

The Last Supper is an indoor-outdoor film, food, music and art festival occuring in Brooklyn, NY during the crux of seasonal change at the end of September. It will include the toils of Jason Rosenstock and Haanwa of Mexican Standoff. Also expect, 13 short films from emerging directors, 13 artworks from budding artists, 13 dishes from brilliant culinarians, and Music from several local bands and djs will grace the dinner table at a venue in Brooklyn.
