Which Players Fill Out Your BTSH All-Star Team?
June 2nd, 2014
Editor’s Note: Let’s keep in mind this is only supposed to be in the spirit of good, clean fun. It’s intended just to spur a little debate and get our minds back on BTSH hockey after a long break. The prices are set based on 2014 performance and what we think is the perceived talent of each player. Let’s try not to take this too seriously. 🙂
The Previously Unpublished 2013 Happy Little Elves Preview
May 30th, 20142012 could have been a great season for the Happy Little Elves. On the morning of July 30, the Elves woke up on the precipice of main-event status, having maintained possession of the once prestigious (yet imaginary) Fairy Tale Cup with a 6-1 thumping of the Dark Rainbows the previous day. Their record stood at an impressive 8-3-0-2, good for a three-way tie for the #5 playoff seed.
However, the BTSH Universe was clearly not responding to the Elves’ success, and with the Fairy Tale Cup having lost so much of its luster, league administrators Adriano “Muscles Marinara” Bratta and Tim “Virgil” Brown made a quick edit to the script and turned the Elves into a jobber. The Elves embarked on a winless streak not seen since the days of Montel Vontavious Porter, going winless in their final five regular season games and dropping to the #11 seed. Their jobber status continued in the playoffs, where the Elves were dispatched by the Butchers in the round of 16.Secret Elves Video Leaked by Canada!
May 28th, 2014So if you are my Facebook friend, you are regularly annoyed by me, but I’ve gotten unbearable after Canada stole my secret Elves strategy video. It all started when Marty St.Louis scored in OT against the Canadiens in Game 4. Watching from my little Android I thought it was really weird how open St.Louis was, and when I looked at a replay later, I found out why.
Worst Filler Friday….EVVVVERRRR!
May 23rd, 2014Week 6 Not 3 Stars
May 21st, 2014No one wants to be a Not-3 Star. The key is not to suck on weeks where there are no games the following week. With no previews to write, we have to fill content or else Tim Brown won’t pay us. Plus, we have too much time on our hands and instead of doing charitable endeavors, The Authority likes to put people down to feel better about ourselves.
