BTSH Hall of Fame – Phil D

First Amy then Julie. Yes Hicks, I heard your complaints about the white men of BTSH never getting any credit. That ends right now!

Old School BTSH picked up a huge W in 2018 when Phil D. was finally inducted into the BTSH HOF. Phil easily could have been a first ballot .

If I had to pick the best partier in BTSH history, Phil would rank #2 behind the legendary Ellery. While others bemoan the new BTSH, Phil makes sure to show the youngins how it used to be done, with the now yearly BTSH Olympics.

BTSH Hall of Fame – Julie K

Sweet lovable, innocent young Julie. Who would have thought the girl who burst on the scene in 2010, would one day make the HOF.

Julie has had maybe the best beginning and ending in BTSH history. Her first season the Happy Little Elves won the championship, and this season, FUZZ did! I don’t know why she wouldn’t retire but it appears she’s going to bring back Mega for another year.

Favorite Sports Moments of 2018

December 20th, 2018

Hornswoggle – There There was nary a period of boredom in the sports realm this calendar year, me thinks because of two very special events: one being the fulfillment of a long-awaited run by the Philadelphia Eagles in SB LII, and the other a very entertaining World Cup, with many Les Bleus singing praises about N’Golo Kanté (one of my favorite players nowadays).

But my favorite sports moment(s) this year can be summed up in one word: Liverpool. They might have lost to Madrid in the UCL Final last season because of two Karius (thank God we loaned him out this season) blunders and Ramos intentionally forcing Salah in tears and out of commission (but I digress), but the road to the final has been nothing but scintillating. Their “Allez Allez Allez” chant—although not original—snowballed into the kind of hit that many clubs are adopting (of course, with their own words); Mohamed Salah broke the Premier League record for goals last season; and now with the squad undefeated in their last 20+games in all competitions as well as some ridiculously great additions in Fabinho, Shaqiri, Keita, and Alisson, Liverpool is, I say unabashedly, an unstoppable freight train in the Prem. Mike Myers and I are deff excited for Klopp and the gang. But you know what the greatest gift from this club might be(which would only reveal itself long after Christmas)? Ah, well, I’m not gonna write it because I’ll jinx it… but Karma’s Heather and Cory know what I’m thinking.

Poaching Season

November 8th, 2018

by Richiehero

It’s that time of year again! It’s actually been that time of year for a month…Poaching Season!

Much like The Purge, where everything is legal for one day, and you aren’t allowed to be mad if someone kills a loved one or even you, Poaching Season is a guilt-free zone. Poach away, you poachers!

Here are some of the people that are most likely to have poach attempts directed at them, and some of the predators people like Julie and Cat should watch out for:

1. Yetter/Bryan/Jess, Dark Rainbows: The Rainbows went from winless to beating a D1 team in the playoffs this year. They gave Cobra Kai a serious run for their money, and only a drunken Sam stopped Cat/Greenwald/Tia from winning the captain of the year vote (they actually did win it). Much of their success came from the three newbies. The Troika of captains better sleep with one eye open, or else some Gritty captain will cuckold them, and steal what’s theirs.

Teams to watch out for: Lbs. Jess has built a nice friendship with someone from the Lbs., and Yetter and Luke click on another level for the Cleveland Browns in District 5. Both would make a nice fit.

Odds of Poaching: 0%. First year players rarely pull a Hicks and leave. They have a great thing going and won’t mess it up. Read the rest of this entry »
