Katz Division Preview
March 19th, 2016That’s right, we have name changes for the divisions! [You better not change those conference names! –Emeritus] Gone is Tim “I hate this league, I’ve become Adriano, I’m going to do an ‘Old Man Walk’ and move to Wyoming” Brown, and in is Julie Katz! Why Julie? Because she’s one of the prettiest girls in the league, has a great personality, and fills the important Washington D.C. Capitals/Redskins fan quota. That’s right, we have quotas!

I have no idea what this giraffe/zebra is doing to that poor baby elephant, but its not nearly as bad as what Julie did to Tim. Took away his division name.

Schedule Alert: Scrimmage Now at Noon!
March 18th, 20162016 Schedule Released!
March 15th, 2016The surest sign that spring is only a few days away? The release of the 2016 BTSH schedule, of course!

Free Agent Scrimmage!!!
March 13th, 2016Believe it or not, we are just one week away from actual street hockey at Tompkins Square Park! As per tradition, we will kick off the 2016 BTSH season with the annual Free Agent Scrimmage. Here are the dirty details:
When: Sunday, March 20, 2016
Time: 1:00-5:00 PM
Where: Tompkins Square Park (corner of 10th Street and Avenue A)
Who: Adults interested in playing ball hockey and not being a dick
Goalies, please email Danielle to sign up for a time slot. If you are a free agent, please wear a RED SHIRT. BTSH veterans are, of course, welcome as well; please bring a white shirt and black shirt.
Franchise Four- Dark Rainbows
March 11th, 2016It’s been a strange journey for the Rainbows. A veteran team that won the ultimate prize in 2007, the last year before The Modern Era (2008-2015). They remained competitive for awhile, and now have settled down nicely as the fun team. I guess its true, Bernstein = Fun!
Three out of the four were easy calls for us in the media, but much like any tiebreaker the Rainbows are in, it will be settled with a coin flip involving the Great, Luisa. (click on Luisa’s name) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yC1U0ztzQ2s&feature=youtu.be
